We make reasonable efforts to ensure that information presented on our website is accurate and current. However, pricing, packages, availability, features, hours, policies, and other information may occasionally change.

Where a discrepancy exists between general website information and the specific terms confirmed in a customer's booking agreement, the booking agreement will govern, subject to applicable law.

Bookings

A booking is not confirmed until all required booking information and deposits or payments have been received and PlayLoft Social has issued confirmation.

Bookings are subject to availability and our Booking, Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Prices

All prices are stated in Canadian dollars unless otherwise indicated. Applicable taxes and any clearly disclosed fees will be added where required.

Changes

PlayLoft Social may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The current version will be posted on this website.

Booking, Refund & Cancellation Policy

When you reserve a party at PlayLoft Social, the entire venue is reserved exclusively for you and your invited guests during your booked event period. Because each reservation removes that date and time from availability to other customers, the following cancellation and rescheduling conditions apply.

Booking Deposit

A deposit of 50% is required to reserve your date and time.

Your reservation is not confirmed until the deposit has been received and you have received booking confirmation from PlayLoft Social.

The remaining balance is due at your event’s scheduled end time.

Customer Cancellations

If you need to cancel your reservation:

  • 15 or more days before the event: all payments other than the booking deposit will be refunded;

  • 14 days or fewer before the event: payments are non-refundable.

The booking deposit is non-refundable except where PlayLoft Social cancels the event and cannot offer an acceptable alternative date.

Rescheduling

We understand that unexpected situations arise, particularly when children are involved.

Requests to reschedule made at least 14 days before an event may be transferred once to another available date within 120 days, subject to availability.

Requests made within the applicable notice period will be considered individually and may be subject to a rescheduling fee.

No-Shows

Failure to attend a booked event without prior notice will be treated as a cancellation and payments will not be refunded.

PlayLoft Social Cancellations

If PlayLoft Social must cancel a booking because of circumstances within our control, customers may choose between:

  1. transferring all amounts paid to another available date; or

  2. receiving a refund of amounts paid for the cancelled booking.

Closures and Circumstances Beyond Our Control

Severe weather, utility interruptions, emergency orders, building closures, unsafe operating conditions, or other circumstances outside PlayLoft Social's reasonable control may require an event to be postponed.

Where reasonably possible, affected customers will be offered an alternative booking date or account credit. Refunds will be addressed in accordance with the circumstances and applicable law.

Changing a Booking

Changes to guest counts, packages, add-ons, food selections, décor, or other booking details must be submitted no less than 7 days before the event. All changes are subject to availability, and may result in additional charges.

All Other Venue Rules & Guest Safety Policy

PlayLoft Social Venue Rules

We want everyone to have a fun, comfortable, and safe experience. All guests are expected to follow venue rules and instructions provided by PlayLoft Social staff.

Adult Supervision

Children must be supervised by a responsible parent, guardian, or designated adult at all times.

PlayLoft Social employees oversee the venue and support the event experience but do not provide childcare or assume responsibility for supervising individual children.

Children may not be left at PlayLoft Social without appropriate adult supervision.

Play Equipment

Guests must:

  • use equipment only for its intended purpose;

  • follow posted age, height, capacity, and safety requirements;

  • follow instructions provided by PlayLoft Social staff;

  • refrain from rough play, pushing, climbing on restricted surfaces, or intentionally unsafe behaviour; and

  • immediately report damaged equipment or unsafe conditions to a staff member.

PlayLoft Social reserves the right to restrict access to any attraction or activity where necessary for safety.

Footwear

Socks are required in designated play areas. Grip socks are highly recommended, and are available for purchase at check-in. Shoes must be removed before entering the play area.

Food and Drink

Food and beverages must remain in designated areas unless otherwise permitted.

Glass containers are not permitted.

Personal Belongings

Guests are responsible for their own personal belongings. PlayLoft Social is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

Behaviour

We are committed to providing a welcoming environment for children, families, guests, and employees.

Harassment, discrimination, threatening behaviour, intentional damage, physical aggression, or repeated disregard of safety instructions will not be permitted.

PlayLoft Social reserves the right to ask a guest to stop participating in an activity or leave the premises where reasonably necessary to protect the safety or experience of others.

Health & Illness Policy

Keeping Our Play Community Healthy

Please do not attend PlayLoft Social if you or a child in your care is experiencing symptoms of a contagious illness or has been advised to stay home from school, childcare, work, or public activities because of illness.

If the birthday child becomes ill before a scheduled party, please contact us as soon as possible. We will work with the booking customer in accordance with our Refund & Cancellation Policy and any applicable rescheduling provisions.

PlayLoft Social maintains regular cleaning and sanitation procedures. Because indoor play is a shared physical activity, however, we cannot guarantee an environment completely free from viruses, bacteria, allergens, or other naturally occurring health risks.

Handwash and sanitizing stations are located throughout the venue, and guests are encouraged to wash or sanitize their hands before and after play.

Food & Allergy Policy

This is especially important if you allow outside cakes, pizza, catering, etc.

Food & Allergy Policy

PlayLoft Social welcomes food in designated eating areas in accordance with our party and catering policies.

Guests are responsible for informing PlayLoft Social of known food-related concerns that may affect an event and for communicating allergies or dietary restrictions to any caterers or food suppliers they use.

Although we take reasonable steps to maintain a clean environment, PlayLoft Social is not an allergen-free facility and cannot guarantee that food, surfaces, equipment, or products have not come into contact with allergens.

Parents and guardians remain responsible for determining whether food is appropriate for children in their care.

Photography & Video Policy

Because this is a private-party venue, this can become another subtle selling feature.

Photography & Video Policy

Guests are welcome to take photographs and videos of their own family and invited guests during private events.

Because PlayLoft Social parties are private bookings, customers and their guests are asked to respect the privacy of everyone attending the event when taking or sharing photographs and videos.

PlayLoft Social will not use identifiable photographs or videos of children for advertising, social media, or promotional purposes without appropriate permission from a parent or legal guardian.

Private Party / Exclusive Venue Policy

Your Party. Your People. Your PlayLoft.

PlayLoft Social operates differently from many traditional indoor play centres.

When you book a private party with us, the venue is reserved exclusively for you and your invited guests for the duration of your booked party period.

That means:

  • no public drop-in guests;

  • no unrelated birthday parties sharing the play areas;

  • no strangers joining your event; and

  • one dedicated celebration occupying the venue at a time.

Your booking begins and ends at the times stated in your reservation. Setup, guest arrival, play, food service, presents, and departure must take place within any time periods specified in your selected package unless otherwise arranged.

Our private-booking model is designed to create a more comfortable, personal, and relaxed celebration for children and the adults who came to celebrate them.

Code of Conduct

Everyone Is Welcome to Play

PlayLoft Social is committed to creating a welcoming environment for children, families, caregivers, employees, and guests.

We expect everyone in our space to treat others with courtesy and respect.

Discrimination, harassment, bullying, threatening behaviour, hateful language, or mistreatment based on characteristics protected by applicable human rights law will not be tolerated.

We recognize that families come in many forms and that children and adults have different abilities, identities, needs, and ways of engaging with the world.

Our goal is simple: a space where people can play, celebrate, and connect while feeling welcome and respected.

Guests whose behaviour seriously or repeatedly interferes with the safety, dignity, or enjoyment of others may be asked to leave.

Inclement Weather & Emergency Closure Policy

Weather & Emergency Closures

Because parties at PlayLoft Social are scheduled private events, we will make reasonable efforts to remain open for confirmed bookings.

However, the safety of our guests and staff comes first.

PlayLoft Social may delay, reschedule, or cancel events where severe weather, unsafe travel conditions, loss of essential utilities, building emergencies, government orders, or other circumstances make operating the facility unsafe or impracticable.

If PlayLoft Social determines that the venue cannot safely operate, we will contact affected customers as soon as reasonably possible and arrange an alternative date, credit, or other remedy in accordance with our booking policies and applicable law.
