- 01The biggest difference is simple: you get the whole venue.Instead of booking a picnic table or party room while sharing the rest of the facility with multiple other groups, PlayLoft Social gives your invited guests private access to the entire space. Less crowding. Less chaos. Fewer weirdos. Easier supervision. More room to actually enjoy the people you invited. Beyond that, we offer free on-site parking in our private lot, dedicated photo-op areas (complete with soft overhead lighting) perfect for socials, good coffee, and your own dedicated party concierge. Your party. Your guests. The entire venue.
- 02PlayLoft Social is a private, elevated indoor play experience designed for both kids and parents. It reimagines the traditional indoor playground as a more personal and comfortable venue for families.Select features include:Inflatable bouncy housesArcade machines (free to play)Redemption gamesClimbing wallParty roomTable gamesGlow-in-the-dark chalk room
- 03Yes — and this is kind of our whole thing. When you book a party at PlayLoft Social, your group gets the entire venue for the duration of your booking. No unrelated parties. No public drop-in crowd. Just your guests, your celebration, and your space.
- 04Yes — you must remove your shoes and keep your socks on while utilizing the play equipment. If you forgot your socks, we have various sizes of jump socks available for purchase at the front desk.We also have cubbies available for you to store your shoes and belongings while you play.
- 05Standard parties are 2 hours. We’ve found that’s a great amount of time for play, food, cake, and celebrating without everyone running out of steam. Need a little more time? Extensions may be available. Your best bet is to email info@playloftsocial.com to let us know what you're thinking, and we will work with you to create a party duration that suits your needs.
- 06That depends on the package you choose. Our party packages are designed for different group sizes, with options for smaller celebrations and larger parties of up to approximately 25 children.
- 07Adults are welcome to join the celebration. Unlike some other venues, we do not charge additional fees for accompanying adults. Because our venue is designed with parents and caregivers in mind too, there will be comfortable areas to relax, chat, and keep an eye on the fun. Final occupancy limits will always apply.
- 08Yes. PlayLoft Social is a party and play venue, not a childcare service. Parents and caregivers remain responsible for supervising the children in their care at all times within the venue.
- 09Food options and add-ons are available, depending on your package. We work with many great local vendors for items such as pizza, cakes, cupcakes, charcuterie boards, snack trays, and other party favourites. We can coordinate the food, or we can share contact information and leave the ordering up to you. Please note that we are not an allergen-free environment.
- 10We expect cakes and cupcakes to be part of many celebrations — birthdays without cake would be a bold choice (but you do you). Generally speaking, you are welcome to bring your own food and non-alcoholic beverages, which is a great way to save a few bucks on your party. Specific outside-food rules will be included in your booking information.
- 11Yes, within reason. We want your party to feel like yours, and items that will not harm or damage guests or the property are generally welcomed. Some décor is available as an add-on to your party package, including balloons, backdrops, and themed table décor. Certain items may be restricted for safety or cleanup reasons.
- 12Several adults are welcome to arrive up to 20-minutes early to begin setting up. Beyond this, we ask guests to arrive according to the instructions provided before the event.
- 13Yes. One of our goals is to make parties easier for adults, not give you another event to manage. Setup, reset, and cleanup support are included or available depending on the package selected. We will even help you carry birthday gifts to your vehicle.
- 14Absolutely. Depending on availability, add-ons may include things like food, balloons, décor, entertainment, photography, party favours, additional time, and more. Some of these can be added directly in the online booking form, and we are happy to speak with you about any other available options.
- 15Yes. We’d love to host private group events, end-of-season celebrations, daycare outings, preschool groups, community events, and other family-focused gatherings.
- 16Yes. Our private-booking schedule gives us dedicated time to reset, inspect, and clean the venue between groups. Similarly, we maintain a cleaning and sanitization schedule during open play times. Cleanliness is part of the experience, not an optional extra.
- 17We understand that kids have a remarkable talent for getting sick at the least convenient time possible. Our cancellation and rescheduling policy will outline the options available when illness or emergencies arise.
- 18We maintain written safety and incident-response procedures and have a stocked first-aid kit on-site. Staff can contact emergency services where appropriate, and parents or caregivers remain responsible for their children’s medical needs and supervision.
- 19Yes. All guests entering the venue will be required to complete the applicable liability waiver before using the play areas. We’ll make the process as simple as possible before or at check-in.
- 20The venue is designed with accessibility in mind, including accessible main-floor access and washroom facilities. If someone in your group has a specific accessibility need, reach out before your event and we’ll do our best to help make the visit as inclusive as possible.
- 21That is very much the plan. Good seating. Nespresso coffee. Good Wi-Fi. Music that doesn’t make you question your life choices (we don't do kid-bop here). TVs. And, most importantly, a venue that isn’t packed with hundreds of strangers coughing and sneezing on you.
- 22Popular weekend times are likely to fill first, so earlier is always better — especially for birthdays during busy seasons. Once online booking opens, available dates and times will be shown directly on our booking system.
